Job profile

• Classroom management and teaching in the primary level, possibly also in grades 5 and 6

• Participation in school development, if necessary assumption of functions
• Planning and implementation of extracurricular activities and participation in school life (class trips, school festivals, events).

Requirements
You will teach students with different backgrounds from first to fourth, possibly sixth grade. You will work with the students on the subject matter in all subjects or only in certain subjects. Accordingly, you will lead a class independently or work as part of a team of teachers.

• 1st and 2nd state exams for primary education, or comparable degrees from Austria or Swiss recognized titles “dipl. Lehrer/in für die Primarstufe (EDK)” as well as “Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education”.
• Experience in DaF is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
•

For the kindergarten and preschool of DSH we are looking for a new colleague. The children from 2 years learn the German language with us. Through games, songs, stories and celebrations, they gain an insight into the German language and culture. The center of our work is the preparation for the 1. Class of our elementary school.

The German School Hurghada is an accredited German school abroad, funded by the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (Zentralstelle für Auslandsschulwesen), and leads to the German Sek I degree after grade 10 and prepares students for the GIB (Gemischtsprachiges International Baccalaureate) in grades 11 and 12.
