DSH student wins trip to Germany

Scholarship from the Educational Exchange Service

Karim Mahram from Class 10 has won one of a few scholarships for a four-week stay abroad in Germany. The scholarships are awarded by the Educational Exchange Service of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in Germany as part of a international program.

Karim’s win makes him part of a group of international students from German schools abroad. During their stay in Germany, the group will visit the cities of Bonn, Cologne, Berlin and Munich. The children live with host families in Germany for fourteen days and attend classes at their local school. During this time, the award winners receive special German lessons.

The award winners receive a full scholarship from funds of the German Foreign Office, which covers travel, course and accommodation costs.

From June 27 to July 25, Karim will be in Germany with his group of ten other students.
